Many stores had the curling irons that are the clamp type and it was not what I was looking for. I appreciated being able to find the type of item I was looking for on Amazon

I cannot use an iron so this is great with the teeth to help hold the hair. Gets hot enough but not too hot. Only problem is they do not last a long time in my hands. The working end seems to loosen from the handle part and eventually does not heat correctly.
