I normally don't write reviews but felt I needed to here since the only other review was so negative. This is my favorite eye shadow, it's most of what I use around my eyes and I've resorted to buying online because I can no longer find it in stores. I use a damp fine-tipped brush to apply it like eyeliner and a broader brush for a light amount blended from the outside of my crease. It is very subtle, making my skin a little darker and slightly shimmery. The other reviewer is correct that it crumbles into a loose powder easily, but I don't find that to be a problem when I appy with a moist brush. It goes on evenly and smoothly and stays in place. If any falls on my cheeks, it's easy to brush off. In contrast, more firm eye shadows like cover girl feel like sand to me, and I end up tugging on and irritating my eyelids when I try to get them to stick on my skin.

I love this eyeshadow. I use the Oatmeal color for my base and my eyeshadow never melts into my creases with this underneath. I've never shelled out big bucks for a primer, but on the $10+ primers I have bought my eyeshadow still melted. This eye shadow has all the credentials for a safe eyeshadow--no paraben and other dangerous chemicals. But, tho it masquerades as a solid eye shadow, it disintegrates during application into a loose powder, distributing itself all over your cheeks and face. The color isn't true (the "cocoa" color is actually almost translucent and the "stone" color is a shiny gray/silver. I wouldn't buy this again at any price. And I'm tossing what I've bought into the trashcan. Does anybody know a safe eyeshadow out there that's not a waste of money at any price?
