The color isn't too orange, has some red in it. Looks very nice with tanned hands, it says "summer". However, the staying power isn't as good as red. I am pretty hard on my nails, gardening and a physical type job so I have to redo my nails every 8-9 days. I love this color its a fantastic spring red. I wish it was also made in non shellac by cnd i am sure it was ten years or so ago
