It's quite amazing! The product itself is very good quality; all the colours are pretty pigmented, although you may want to use a base or primer for the shadows. The liners, lip colours, glosses, and highlighters are great too! The cream liners are my favourite, they are really smooth and pigmented. I'm not a fan of the blush, but I never use blushes that come in a palette, at least not as intended; they make for great shadows for me. Very happy.

As far as shipping goes, this product arrived well packed and in excellent shape, there was not a thing wrong with it.

Overall, exceptionally worth it!

I got this makeup kit even when I saw it cheaper other places, it came and it was smaller than it looked in the picture even then I was still going to keep it! but when I opened it the mirror was cracked and a screw was missing out the side witch holds it together, I was very unhappy with it and still trying to send it back!

I can store all of my brushes in this thoughtfully designed brush case. I like how the top flaps over to protect the brush bristles. The case conveniently folds into thirds. Black shiny finish, secures snugly with velcro. Silver Japonesque logo on front.Zippered pouch good for extra sponge tip applicators or perhaps, blotting tissues. Unlike some reviewers, I do not think this case is too long. 9.5"long x 5"wide when folded, this case will fit easily into my travel carry-on. I am happy with my purchase. Didn't have to spend tons $ on a brush case. It can be difficult to find a decent one without having to buy the brushes too.

This is such a good quality make up brush case. It looks different from the picture on amazon. The material looks way better then the picture and it also has a zipper compartment! its like a size of a clutch purse. The reason why I gave this a 4 star because it didn't have that little pocket for a kabuki in the amazon picture and the zipper pocket isn't as big and the clutch wish it was the size of the whole clutch part. But other then that I absolutely love my purchase thank you!

I love this item it is completely sleek and beautiful, however I am not a make up artist so I have no need for this. I am opting for something much smaller and way more simpler than this. The only complaint I have over this item it is that mine would not close evenly. I do not know if it was because I only had 7 brushes and this fits 9 or maybe I was not doing it right, regardless this actually is a very good product.

I was looking for a long time for a brush case, and I thought I found the perfect one. Unfortunatelly this one is too big for my brushes. When I place them inside there was a lot of space above, 3/4 of the brush lenght was in the pocket. My longest brush is 7.5 inch (19cm), the rest range from 4.5 to 6 inch (11 to 15 cm). I wish I measured the case but it must`ve been 9-10 inch (+-25cm) long. It has a look of envelope purse, overall nice quality, with 2 pockets (see the picture), but I was looking for something smaller and portable.I didn`t want to keep it for only one long foundation brush I barely use. Maybe they sent me a long one, but price matches this one.

I finally found a Sephora slim brush case (as I wanted new blush brush), with 5 brushes (very good quality) but I can fit 9 of them inside (two pockets are big enough for 2 slim brushes, plus one is good for spoolie). Perfect size, lightweight.

Too bad there`s no measurements for Japonesque case, maybe email the seller before? I returned mine.

I have had a number of experiences with brushes...most of them were bad. My skin is extremely sensitive. If I scratch an itch on my face, my face swells and I look like I've broken out in a rash. I tried brushes made of natural fiber (ie, animal hair)and that was a big mistake. The brushes wore out rather quickly and felt scratchy to my sensitive skin. I ran into the same problem with most synthetic brushes. Of course the synthetics I bought were cheap, which probably accounts for the poor quality.

I was determined to find high-quality make-up brushes that wouldn't irritate my skin. I did tons of research on make-up brushes and the pros and cons of various types. I settled on these the second I touched them. They are, by far, the softest brushes that I have ever felt.

All of the brushes perform exquisitely. They hold pigment well and the fibers are secure (so you won't be finding them on your face or your vanity). I've had these brushes for over a year and they haven't begun shedding yet! The types of brushes that are included in the kit are all one needs to create simple day looks and more complicated night looks with ease. Plus, it comes with a small make-up bag inside the case. The bag is small and detachable, so it's a great place to keep your basic make-up products (foundation, brow powder, mascara, etc.) or disposable tools like cotton swabs and sponges.

Also, I'm not an animal activist, but for those of you who are (hey, I know this is important to some) Too Faced doesn't test any of their products on animals and created these brushes to be just as good as animal hair brushes, minus the cruelty. I personally think they're better than natural bristles anyway. I would truly recommend this brush set to anyone!

This might sound insane, but to me it's worth every penny.

ANY product you use will benefit from this. When I wash the bare minerals brushes they end up feeling very strange... these are good as new and so baby soft, just like they started. The bag added in it (Velcro too!) is a life-saver, great to keep your shadows in, but anything that tends to spill you may not want to put in there. That big foundation brush you will want to use on those expensive powder foundations. You'll find if the normal minerals kabuki brush has nothing on that thing.

If you aren't a brush fetishist, you can save loads of money just buying an eco-tools set for a fraction of the price. If you want the best, this is it.

i really appreciate the quality of the liptstick-being made with good ingredients and not all those artificial chemicals. the color was also pretty true to what you see in the picture, of course, i expected with my dark lips that it wouldn't pop as much as if i had lighter colored lips. with this expectation in mind, it was still a bit of a let down that for the price it didn't hold up at all. it rubbed off pretty quickly-i had to repeatedly reapply. all in all, even for the price i wasn't too dissappointed. maybe you might have a better experience and not eat like a cow like i do with the lipstick on :^>

This is a beautiful soft rose color that looks superb on fair skin. It wears off super quick and needs to be reapplied often. It is not sheer nor highly pigmented and looks quite natural. It has an "off" smell which takes a little getting used to. For a product made entirely of organically grown ingredients it is impressive though! It is creamy, but not the same as the lip care stick.

This is a nice classic rose color. I have fair skin, blue eyes and brown/auburn hair. It does not look drastic. It is not super pigmented. I would say it is a "medium coverage." It wears off quickly and needs to be reapplied often. It is creamy, but does not feel like the lip care stick. It has a slightly unpleasant odor. The packaging is nice. All in all for a lipstick made entirely of organically grown ingredients (as I have been led to believe-although it is not marked as such) I am very impressed and would reccomend!

Discount Bare Escentuals Refillable Mirror Compact Lavendar

This compact is not perfect but works OK if you are careful and make an adjustment to the sifter. First, I put masking tape over all but 3 holes before filling it to prevent the powder from migrating too much into the middle section while it's bouncing around in my purse. Otherwise there will be too much powder under the lid when you open it. Secondly, I don't fill it too full of powder, probably about half it's capacity. And lastly make sure you do not yank open or close the middle lid too abruptly (the one that closes over the sifter) or the powder may spill or poof out. The brush is not very soft and doesn't work as well as a kabuki, so I carry one of the baby buki brushes from a sample kit instead. It has a nice sized mirror and I think the compact size is pretty good bc its about the same size as some other powder compacts I have. I've read in other reviews that powder leaks have been a problem but I have 2 of these now (one for translucent powder and one for bronzer) and I've not had any issues so far. So overall it's an OK travel compact, this $8.99 price is decent for what you get, I got mine on eBay for about the same, but I wouldn't pay the original $20 price bc it is definitely not worth that much.

It's a very secure compact and really easy to add the makeup to. Only complaint is the brush. It's not the best, but it still does the job. A little pricey, but still worth the purchase, in my opinion. Much better than those cheap pressed powder compacts, for sure.

I love this mirror compact.

I blended my own powders which is a mix of bronzer loose powder and matte foundation loose powder

and it's perfect for me. I use the brush that comes with it mainly for my neck area

and I use my tube twist up brush I carry in my handbag makeup case for work from the

I thought the primer idea was a great idea and the fact that they claimed No clumping...

First time use: First I put the primer on--it made my lashes long and freaky looking, just in time for halloween. Then I applied the black mascara on top. Both the primer and mascara went on very clumpy.

Second time use: I took one eye makeup off, and applied only the black mascara (prior reviews said just the black mascara was okay) but it was the same deal.

Also: The wand is very flimsy, maybe too flimsy. The style bristles did not do justice in seperating the lashes and when I was done, I had maybe 5 matted eye lashes--and this is only with ONE application.

Recommended: NO. I even went back to the store the same day to return this product. ~

product is of decent size and seems to be well made. I bought these for mu "tween" nieces. I would have given this item more stars, but the keys for one of the cases was missing. It's a LOCKING case, it kinda defeats the purpose of being a locking case if there are no keys with it.

and before anyone comments, yes, I realize it is a crappy little lock that you don't "NEED" keys for, but, NO i am NOT going to teach my nieces how to pick a lock.

I don't think that this train case is too small, I wasn't looking for a large oversize train so I am happy with the size.I was able to use my bottom shelf for heavy makeup compact for example, bronzers, blushes, highlighters,and powders. My middle shelf is for lips product and eye products and my top shelf I used it for my brushes. I'm a makeup artist. I needed a new make up box to lug my things around! I thought this would be big but it was actually VERY small like half the size of a shoe box! I can't fit any of my stuff in here! Since I am a make up artist so you can imagine all the supplies I have! I was going to give it to my cousin but she couldnt even fit all her everyday make up in here! And she only wears concealer, foundation, bronzer, and mascara. If I could make one improvement on the kit, I would include one more clip for a total of four, since typically we have to section hair into four sections first. This product works for what it is needed for and I haven't had anything break yet, so I am pleased with the brushes and bowl. Two things though:

I do not see a point in the brush, as it's large, clunky, and not something you can easily use when dying your hair. but outside of the kit its fine for use, combs hair. I just wouldn't use it for dying the hair.

the hair clips should not even been in this product. They are flimsy, useless, and it seems like the creator only put them in there to make it seem like more stuff for the price. they don't hold hair at all, even when I tried using a *very* small chunk they would just fall out or drop the hair. they're completely useless which was a disappointment, Even being cheap I expected them to be able to at least do something.

I just received this tool kit this week. Opened it today and noticed 1/2 of the plastic bowl trimming was broken off. There were no black plastic pieces in the clear plastic bag it came in; so whoever packed it knew the productive was defective before it was shipped. Too bad. I wanted to like this tool kit. But I can't abide shady practices. I would return it, but I don't know if the shipping is worth the expense and trouble.
