Ever since I started wearing this foundation, I've gotten nothing but compliments on my skin!!! I was iffy about the color selection because my skin isn't too fair , it's more like light/medium. I bought this in the shade Naked & I thought it may be a little too light.. but it was a PERFECT match. I love it!! I have very VERY very sensitive, acne-prone skin. My skin is far beyond perfect, I even have dark acne spots. During the day, I just cover up spots with concealer then I dust this powder on with my own brush (I don't like the one that's provided although the packaging is pretty nice) I use one application and then I let it set for a couple of minutes then I dust on a second application. This powder has a cool sensation that lasts for a few seconds but it's very nice feeling. It almost feels like you're applying cold water to your face, it's very soothing. After I let it set for a few minutes, I use a pressed powder and pat my t zone then apply some bronzer to my cheekbones then I'm set. This lasts me most of the day, but I do have to touch up with my compact after a few hours which I don't mind. I love that it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything at all & my skin seems to be getting much better from using this. I was originally using Almays TLC (Truly Lasting Color) liquid foundation which is nice but it can be VERY drying. I also found that it is very difficult to remove. I find this product to feel much better feeling on my skin and it feels soft and is VERY easy to remove and it provides just enough coverage for me, because all you really need is some concealer to cover spots then this!! I love that it isn't cakey, but I find that you should exfoliate at least a couple times a week and still moisturize because it CAN look cakey if your skin is too dry. I am in LOVE with this product, & I will DEFINITELY be buying again!!! I hope they never discontinue this :) It gives me a natural looking glow that almost looks like i'm wearing nothing at all!! I'm giving 4/5 stars only because I wish this had better staying power but still an amazing product!!

This Almay wake-up hydrating makeup is great, if it's what you're looking for. It is a very fine loose powder, that can be messy, but that means it fills in the small cracks in your skin, giving you a smoother, more flawless finish. The brush is not great, but I've never been satisfied with a provided applicator. The bristles are fine, but the contracting brush does not stay in the open position during application. I use my own face powder brush and receive good coverage and blending. I appreciate the cool, hydrating feeling as you apply, as it leaves my oily-prone skin feeling fresh all day. In combination with a tinted moisturizer, this gives me enough coverage to dash out of the house without feeling self conscious. When I'm looking for a more flawless look, it layers well over my primer/foundation and concealer, without getting cakey.

I would highly recommend this product for someone looking for a fine loose powder with natural coverage for daily wear.

I bought these little remover pads to remove my nail polish. I was looking for a product that is completely lint free and this works great! There is nothing worse when doing your nails than having to pick off lint from a freshly painted nail that was left behind from a remover pad! These also work well when removing glitter polish just wrap the saturated pad with a square of tin foil and let sit for a few minutes. Will most likely re-purchase.

This product is outstanding because:

-there are a huge number of different shades (distinguished by cool, warm, or neutral), which guarantees that you'll find the perfect one for you.

-it is smooth and does not feel heavy on the skin. It offers an amount of coverage on the lighter side, so it will be subtle and unnoticeable for those of us that just want a nice everyday makeup and don't want to look really made-up.

When picking out the shade that is right for you, it is very important to first determine your skin undertone. Warm skin tones look best in gold jewelry, while cool tones look best in silver. Warms look best in orange-y yellowy colors and ivory or cream whites, while cools look best in blues, pinker pinks, pastel colors, and pure whites. Neutrals can pretty much wear every color. Cool and warm skin tone does not necessarily correspond to light and dark skinned people; in other words, if you're super pale, you could be either a warm or a cool (although really pale people tend to be cools). I read somewhere that if you're a very dark-skinned African American you're most likely cool, whereas not-so-dark African Americans are usually warm. I've heard that cool skin tones are generally more common. Blue/pink undertones are cool, while yellow undertones are warm. Look at the insides of your wrists/forearms. Determining your skin tone is very important, not just for choosing a foundation but for choosing all your makeup (for example, cools should not wear orange-y pink or coral lipstick/blush, but should wear more pink pinks). Furthermore, it is important for determining what colors to choose for your clothing.

i purchased this in Shade w4 and i absolutely love it!!! it has great coverage but doesn't feel as heavy as my mac foundation. the color i chose really covers my ocassional zits and i love that it doesn't look or feel heavy!! my face also gets red around my cheeks and nose and this covers it really well. problem solved!!! i love the shade i chose and looks like i'm sticking to this one after trying soooo many foundations(mac, clinique, estee lauder,dior,benefit,cover girl,maybelline,and a lot more i can't remember).

the powder version of this i did not like, its not blendable and won'tlast. just go for the liquid one...great coverage! can't say it enough.

First off, I love that there are so many shades to choose from. You're guaranteed to find the perfect shade for your skin. I also like the bottle. It's visually appealing and functional. I think this would be a great foundation for someone with normal or dry skin that's looking for light-medium coverage. I have combination/oily skin and this stuff just makes me look even more oily, even if I set it with powder. When I wear this makeup, I have to blot with oil sheets multiple times a day and re-apply powder. By the end of the day I just look shiny and some parts of my face look cakey. This was just not a good foundation for me, but like I said before-it would be great for someone with normal/dry skin. Oily faced gals-try Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation for combination/oily skin. It's great!

This liquid foundation is dispensed by upending the bottle onto the tip of your finger and then rapidly dotting the product onto your face. There is plenty of time to work the product, so streaking or uneven application isn't normally a problem. I have very oily skin and don't like the feel of a heavy foundation, so the weight of this product is a bonus. Nevertheless, coverage is very sheer indeed. You won't be covering too many of those freckles. I've tried heavier applications but then the product settles into my pores and I look worse with the foundation than without. I settle for a light dusting of a loose powder foundation on top for a touch more coverage and a drier feel to my skin.

The SPF factor is only 17. Since this product works best if you use sparingly, I doubt that I'm getting a protection factor of 17. I doubt I'm getting SPF 8.

Matching the color to my skin was not too bad using the display at the drugstore. I suspect the match is relatively easy because the product is so sheer, you don't need as precise a match as other foundations.

My skin acquires a rather oily/gluey sensation in the afternoon with this plus the powder. However, I haven't had time to shop for a powder foundation that goes on fresh looking, not powdery and can survive my oily skin.

My only other point of comparison is an Estee Lauder foundation and a Lancome foundation. The Lancome foundation was wonderfully smooth in comparison, offered heavier coverage, fabulous fragrance but left my skin even oiler. The Estee Lauder is a new one I've just purchased. It too has heavier coverage, maybe a little too heavy and is very smooth. Can't say too much about the oiliness factor yet.

However, for the price the Loreal is a great bargain. The jar is small enough so you can pack it in your carry-on when you fly. The Estee Lauder tube is under the limit but looks large; I just don't want to deal with airport security.

BTW, I'm Asian-American and medium fair for this population. Hope that helps you zoom in on your shade.

love so much, can also be mixed with other colors to find the right shade, this would not be great for very dry skin, i read somewhere and it's true! but I solved the problem with putting more creme on my dry skin before i apply the foundation so it can stick. I have combination skin, acne, and some dry spots that pop up only in winter time, so can wear this for the whole season.

Got the item right away and after one night and still after a couple of weeks, my skin looks clearer, cleaner and the texture is so smooth!! Well I was very upsat, because that device ran me over one hundred dollars. I came home from the deployment, and I had to get me another device. I found this one on the Amazon page, and wow it's great. It's just as good as the Sonic clean device, and actually I think it's better. This device had several different speeds, where as the Sonic device had one speed. This was a great find, it's just as good as the Sonic Clean; and 1/2 the price. I really love this thing, now I got to purchase extra pads.

Well I purchased this items less than a year ago, and today was a rude awakening. I went to reach for my facial cleansing system; and it didn't work. I unplugged it, and plugged it in the wall again; and no response. I can't believe this device has died on me in less than a year. I knew I should have just purchased another sonic clean, I have learned; I will purchase another sonic clean. Yes this device was about 50 dollars, but it wasn't worth it; the darn device only lasted for less than a year. I would advice you to purchase the sonic clean, please don't waste your time and money on this device

Please do not waste your money on this product. Spend the extra money and buy the clarisonic. I wish I would have listened to the reviews, it would have saved me sixty bucks. This product worked great while it worked. I have only had the product a few weeks and it already quit working. After a week of use I noticed the battery was not holding a charge like it was. Then after four weeks of use the unit would not charge at all. The light would not even come on that indicates it's charging, and it was hot after taking it off the charger, which probably means it is a fire hazard as well.

I've been hearing about the high end Clarisonic System for years, but did not want to drop $200 without knowing whether or not it would work for me. It's been 6 weeks since I started using the Nutra Sonic, and now I understand all the rave about these systems! First off, I have acne prone adult skin, and on top of that my skin is also highly sensitive--turning red and getting irritated very easily. I started off using this everyday on low, and in the first couple of weeks I noticed more acne cropping up, almost like the machine uncovered new bumps in the process of deep cleaning and exfoliating. However, I was so thrilled and amazed with how smooth and glowing it left my skin that I stuck with it. Now I utilize the machine only every other day, and the acne has abated. I am very thrilled with this machine, and while it has worked well for me, when it does break down I will totally invest in the expensive Clarisonic. Cheap Sigma Short Shader - E20

I just recently (last 3 months) began purchasing & using Sigma brushes and I have yet to not love one of them! I have a very small eyelid and they are hooded, this brush allows me to really concentrate color on the lid and create a "crease" that I don't normally have. It's also great for smudging color on the upper & lower lash lines. The bristles are packed tightly and the brush handle (as with all Sigma brushes) is easy to hold and easily apply your makeup. I love my Sigma brushes, this is my honest opinion, not for a gift, etc. I highly recommend them if you have never used decent makeup brushes and they're very affordable!! Thanks Sigma & Amazon :)

I love this brush…i saw it on the sigma website one day and had to order!!! I use it on my lower lid before I get to the crease…it deposits color very well because the bristles are stiff but still soft. It's also perfect for a "smokey" eye!!! Love it!! =)

Sigma brushes are the best brushes I have found! They are soft to the touch and they don't shed and the texture of the brushes don't change with use. I have almost every Sigma brush they make and they are the best brushes ever. I wash and clean my brushes weekly and I never worry about the brushes becoming hard or having the bristles fall out. You never have to worry about bristles being left on your face when applying your makeup. Sigma is the only application brush I use. They are great!

I really like the way this color and powder blended with my brows and eye pencil. It lasts easily from morning into the night.I like the color because I am a medium brown brunette and I've found most eyebrow powders are too dark or have too much red in them. This one is perfect. I would give it five stars but I found that the brush is not easy to use. It's bristles are not hard enough and the size is so tiny that it's very difficult to work with. So I use my own slant tip hard bristle brush and the results are great.

Seriously, this color DOES look as nice as the paint on a high-end automobile.

I'm a fan of CND's Shellac products and have been doing home application now for over a year. My nails have never been more beautiful. The color "Purple Purple" is, like some of their colors, misnamed in my opinion. This polish is a mix of Navy blue/Silver metallic/Royal blue with an undercurrent of red in there that results in a fine metallic color akin to "blue violet" that changes depending upon the light or what colors you are wearing. (It is especially pretty in the sunlight).

After curing under the UV light, but before the CND top coat is applied, it appears dull, But after the top coat is cured, wow! It is glossy and gorgeous, but NOT purple, per se. I have worn this color with clothing items that were navy, periwinkle, sky blue, royal blue and red, and it was beautiful with all of these colors.

Now, if you really want PURPLE, this polish can become the most beautiful grape color with the addition of a thin coat of CND's "Hot Chilis" on top of two coats of "Purple Purple". Don't forget the CND clear top coat and you are in business!

Overall I like CND gel polish because it's much easier to remove from my nails compared with all other gel polishes (and I've tried several). This particular color is a striking violet with blue undertones, sort of a deep lavender. I've gotten many compliments while wearing this. My only gripe is that the color is slightly less long-lasting than certain other gels, like Calgel, but since it's much easier to remove, it's a lot gentler on my nails.
